To all my friends and family, 

I am excited to be able to write you about the opportunity that I have been given in this New Year. I will be going January 19^th – February 1^st with four other people to India to talk with High school students and then teach young church planters in Salem, India. I will be talking with some 350 9th-12th grade Indian students at what they call a “youth camp” what we would call a midweek student program. The students that go to the camp are made up of kids that are from the schools in the community as well as the orphans that make up the orphanage. I then will also be teaching four classes to 125 young adult students that are planning to be church planters through out the country of India. They have either been sent by their pastor or other Christian leader in their community to attend this school to plant churches, although I know of one young man that walked to the school and said that God had sent him to build his kingdom and that was it.  If you would like to be able to take a look at the organization that I will be working with then please go to www.icmcindia.org there you will be able to see the Timothy school as well as all the other areas of ministry that they have.  

The reason that you’re getting this email from me is very important. First and foremost I want you to know that I am not asking for money, although if you want too I am always accepting checks, just kidding. I am going on behalf of the church that I work at so money is not an issue. I am asking you to pray for me and the team as we go! I know that this is an awesome opportunity for the Kingdom of Christ and I want to make sure that we cover the whole time that we are gone in prayer. So I am asking you to sign up to be praying for me one day while I am on this incredible journey. Now I know your thinking that you can’t pray one whole day well I am not asking you to hide out and pray in a closet, just that you would pray off and on through out the day for this trip. So that I know who will be praying on what day I would ask that you email me back and let me know what day that you have picked to be praying. I will then keep track of that so that I can make sure that you are able to follow along with me on this trip through the BLOG that I hope to be posting on our church website. What I can do is give you the exact site once you let me know what day you will be praying. If you are unable to let me know or that you are going to pray the whole time (Michelle & Mom).
