/// THIS MONTH'S MESSAGE
(13)
June 1
– Acts 4:32-37. “Making Poverty History.”
Tornadoes in Missouri. Earthquakes in China. Cyclones
in Burma. When we look at the problems in our world,
it’s easy to get discouraged. The needs are so vast,
and we feel so small. But working together, we can make
a difference, maybe not in the entire world, but at
least in our corner of it. Come see how.
June 8 - Acts 5:12-16. “Casting Significant Shadows.”
The Bible says that sick people would line the streets
as Peter walked by, hoping his shadow would fall on
them, and perhaps they would be healed. What kind of
shadow do you cast on those you encounter?
June 15 – Acts 5:17-42. “Unstoppable.”
The power of God working through us enables us to
overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Come see
how to live an unstoppable life.
June 22 – The life of Barnabas. “The Power of
Encouragement.”
Do you have a nickname? Maybe it’s something from your
childhood, or something that reveals a little bit about
who you are. There once was a man in the early church
who was so inspiring, who had such a positive impact on
others, that he was given a nickname which meant, “Son
of Encouragement.” Come see how you can be an
encourager to others.
